EntropySoft Cited As A Strong Performer in Enterprise Content Integration report By Independent Research Firm

EntropySoft was among the select companies that Forrester Research Inc. mentioned in its October 7, 2010 “Take A Process View Toward Enterprise Content Integration” report. In this evaluation, EntropySoft was mentioned as one of the “specialized ECI companies”

Forrester Research concluded that “in some cases, synchronization just saves money” and mentioned “EntropySoft’s ECI product to synchronize certain folders […] and avoid license costs”. Furthermore, Forrester Research took the example of “one large New York bank [that] used the Content ETL product from EntropySoft” and “This greatly simplified the user experience and the UI development”.

As repertory synchronization is becoming more frequent as a content integration method, Forrester Research chose EntropySoft customer to illustrate the benefits of synchronization, saying: “One large bank uses EntropySoft to synchronize in real-time the documents created in SharePoint with IBM FileNet. Users work in their preferred environment while documents are securely synchronized with the corporate repository. This synchronization approach avoids use of Web Parts and is relatively simple to deploy. »

“We are extremely pleased to be included in a report by Forrester Research,” said Nicolas Maquaire, EntropySoft CEO. “We feel this reflects our success in being at the forefront of innovation for content integration. Our new module for real-time synchronization of content repositories is a giant step forward for companies trying to solve their integration problems. Being able to move in real-time SharePoint-created content to Documentum is really helping companies with their archive, records management, or eDiscovery efforts”.

Content ETL is specifically designed to Extract, Transfer and Load documents to and from connected Enterprise repositories. It can handle the most advanced document transfers, while safekeeping all metadata. It is used for migration, archiving, records management and document distribution.

Thanks to the Track Repository Changes feature of the EntropySoft connectors, Content ETL offers a way to synchronize two repositories in real-time. The synchronization effectively removes the barriers surrounding the content repositories by synchronizing their content. Documents, metadata and permissions are automatically updated.

The synchronization process can be done across the firewall to synchronize distant heterogeneous repositories in different locations or companies. Documents can be exchanged with maximum speed, security and traceability. This process can also be applied to cloud repositories. Content ETL can also synchronize external content silos with internal applications.

Content ETL is possibly the most versatile product on the market to manage all unstructured data transfers. Thanks to its connectivity to 40 content silos and its powerful development studio, Content ETL handles all content transfer processes in the extended enterprise.

All major Enterprise Content Management Systems are present in EntropySoft’s portfolio: Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum Content Server, Interwoven TeamSite, Alfresco and more. All connectors have been fully tested on large implementations in critical business projects.

EntropySoft brings Content Management Intelligence to its customers.
