This portfolio enables our customers to deliver easy integration with 30 content-centric applications. The extensive support of features and the size of the connector portfolio make this technology perfect OEM material for many software industries. The state-of-the-art connectors help customers focus on their differentiators, allowing them to concentrate on their core business while EntropySoft takes care of the connectivity.
All major Enterprise Content Management Systems are present in EntropySoft’s portfolio, and all connectors have been fully tested on large implementations in critical business projects.
“Our product marketing is continuously listening to our customers. Based on our partner’s requests for enhancements and our strategy, we improve constantly our connectors so as to give our customers the features that are requested by their respective markets” said Raphael Jean, CTO and co-founder of EntropySoft. “Our connectors are used everyday in critical operations and we therefore must provide reliable and robust software as well as the best technological options. Each new release takes our connectors to a higher quality level. We are moving closer to our objective of being the technological reference for universal access to all content silos."
The most-awaited feature is the repository changes tracking.
Six connectors now have the ability to track changes to the repository and deliver a list of added, updated and deleted documents since the last request. Changes to content, permissions and metadata are taken into account on an immediate basis. This is a long-awaited feature that is truly ground-breaking.
This is a critical feature used to monitor and register all the modifications happening in any content repository. It is a fantastic feature for all software products that need to be aware as quickly as possible of any change in a content repository. In the Enterprise Search market, the repository changes tracking is a “must-have”, so as to keep an index updated. Instead of having to browse all the repositories to build an up-to-date index, EntropySoft connectors deliver automatically the changes to the repositories.
This exclusive revolutionary feature will greatly increase the synchronization speed of repositories and continuous index updating.
Repository changes tracking is available for the following systems: EMC Documentum Content Server, Open Text Livelink, IBM FileNET P8, Microsoft SharePoint 2007, Microsoft Exchange WebStorage, Open Text eDocs Hummingbird DM.
This new feature is included in the latest release of EntropySoft’s connectors’ portfolio which includes significant improvements across all connectors. EntropySoft connectors now also support URL generation, improved exception handling, improved schema information details, full details on permissions as well as user and group directories.
